In our Savile collection, renowned San Francisco designer Jonathan Browning has masterfully explored the interplay of solid and void. A monumental block of crystal is carved with a concave channel to hold an Edison bulb, set within a solid brass frame. When illuminated, the crystal reveals its solidity, refracting and reflecting the light of the bulb; but in darkness, it takes on a weightless transparency, as if defying gravity.
